What Is UFO? basic facts
A UFO is technically an "unidentified flying object," nothing more nor less.

 Any object that flies and cannot initially be identified as an airplane, helicopter, blimp, balloon, kite, or any other object that normally flies, is a UFO. Many flying objects that are listed as a UFO can later be identified as an object made on Earth, then they can be called an "IFO," or identified flying object.




Where Did UFO Reports Begin?
Many think that UFOs have only been reported since 1947, is this true?


Although the so called "modern era" of Ufology began with the Kenneth Arnold sighting in 1947, UFO reports go back to ancient times. Even cave drawings, sculptures, paintings, and folklore of yesteryear show an influence of flying machines on mankind.
Also, in the United States, there was an early wave of sightings near the end of the 19th century. There still exists today newspaper and book accounts of UFO reports from that era.



Do We Desire Alien Contact?

There are many different opinions being tossed around about this thing called alien contact. Although we see UFO and Alien influence everywhere these days, most of it is light hearted, like promoting products on television. But, when it comes down to the really serious ramifications of contact with an extraterrestrial race of beings, there are a number of things to consider.
Those who believe that the multitude of UFO reports contain at least a small fraction of true visits by ET, must also believe that contact, at least to a point, has already been made. If that is the case, then our visitors from beyond are keeping their distance, at least for the time being. Although there are a number of well documented encounters with alien beings, they have all been done primarily on a one on one basis. So far there has been no landing on the White House lawn.

This type of contact is normally in the form of an alien abduction, which is almost always a frightful, life-changing experience. We must remember, however, that there are those who claim benefit from these encounters, in the form of enlightenment, spiritual healing, and an ongoing connection with a more intelligent "big brother." People have claimed to have had diseases cured, emotional and mental problems alleviated, and their lives totally altered positively by these beings from beyond. But those who are less fortunate have been treated like lab rats, tagged like cattle, and humiliated by sexual experimentation and other invasive medical procedures. Women have even claimed to have been impregnated-later having their fetuses removed. Often at a later time, they may get to meet their long lost "hybrid child from the stars." Then they say good-bye to them.

All of this must be carefully considered while science is trying to make contact with another civilization from the vastness of space. Who made the decision that we should desirously seek this alien contact? Those who so desperately wait for that signal may not know what they might find out there. And they are speaking for the entire human race. We must never believe that the absence of contact equates to absence of other intelligence. Maybe they don't want to make contact with us as a people, or maybe they are waiting for just the right time to make their presence known. When and if that times comes, what will we be facing?-the beneficial, neighborly big brothers, or the heartless, crass, and calculating scientists who force their will on us. Just food for thought: be careful what you wish for, you just might get it.




ET Made Contact With Earthlings?
Have extraterrestrial beings made contact with humans?


If you believe in alien abduction as a real event, the answer is yes. Many humans have claimed that not only have they made contact with extraterrestrials, but been taken against their will by visitors from another world. Most of this contact has been of a malevolent nature, with medical tests being done, some of which are degrading experiences for the abductee.
There are others who claim they have made contact with extraterrestrials also. Some individuals who have seen a UFO have been contacted, sometimes in a physical sense, and others by mental telepathy. Also, some claim to be able to contact alien intelligence by channeling, or through the thoughts of their mind.



UFO Encountered in Amelia, Ohio


Background
On January 12, 2004, a UFO encounter occurred in Amelia, Ohio, in Clermont County. The incident was witnessed by three individuals, and began at 2:58 AM. This strange event would eventually be investigated by Donnie Blessing, Southern Ohio State Section Director of MUFON.

In the wee hours of the morning, 21-year-old student Susan T., along with her neighbor Jeff F., were in Susan's driveway, when their attention was drawn to an object in the sky. Susan would describe the object as disc shaped with a hump on top. As she watched the object, it appeared to "drop" from the sky to a certain point, hovered, and then began to drop again.

Eventually, the UFO would drop below tree line level, at which point Susan could no longer see it. She gave a description of the object:

Susan's Description

Susan stated that the object she saw must have had a "million lights," along with a red light on the top of the hump that rotated. White lights adorned the "bottom" of the UFO. It was difficult to describe the exact shape of the object as it make turns which made it appear to be changing shape before her eyes.

During the time that she watched the object, she felt that she was being watched, and she became very frightened. This "feeling" is often associated with a UFO sighting. She had, along with her neighbor, sat in a truck and watched the object for over an hour. It was 4:15 AM, when they lost sight of it below the tree line.

Bizarre Occurrence

Susan and Jeff both saw an almost unbelievable thing happen. After the UFO disappeared, they saw what they could only describe as a "shadow" on the roof of the house. This shadow turned into a ball, and rolled down the roof, and disappeared behind the house.

They two eyewitnesses were not frightened by what they had just seen. They could not stand to look for the object any longer, and give up the sight, going into the house. She also said that the dogs in the neighborhood were very upset during the time of the sighting.

Jeff's Account

Susan's neighbor and corroborating witness Jeff gave his personal account to Blessing. His testimony only went to strengthen Susan's story.

Jeff was 45-years-old, and disabled. He affirmed that he and Susan had watched the unknown object for over an hour as they sat in his truck in Susan's driveway. He also stated that he saw the object drop, hover, and drop again until they lost sight of it.

Jeff said the dropping sequence was very fast, and he also saw the rotating red light on the top of the hump or cupola. He elaborated on the disappearance of the object, and sighting of the ball.

A "light tannish, brown shadow turned into a ball about the size of a cantaloupe" and rolled down Susan's roof, he said.

"This happened so fast it was unbelievable."

Blessing's Findings

Blessing found that the two witnesses' stories were almost identical, with only slight descriptive variances. He stated that Susan was upset for quite some time after the sighting, and had trouble sleeping.

Blessing viewed the description of the shadow on the roof as extremely bizarre, but states that both witnesses were sincere about what they saw. The term "shadow" was used only because it was the best way the two witnesses could describe what they had seen.

Through a telephone inquiry of the neighborhood, one more possible witness was found. A resident from a few blocks away for Susan's house saw a very bright object in the western sky, during the same time that Susan and Jeff had their sighting. The witness only saw the object for a couple of minutes, stating that it was a very bright object above the tree line.

The sighting is a real mystery. There could be a reasonable explanation for object seen in the sky, however, the so-called shadow on the roof, and ball are all part of this strange encounter. At this time, no plausible explanation can be found.

Best UFO picture in 2009

Telford,UK

Robson Bolam took several pictures of a mystery object which he saw over Donnington, in Telford, UK. He has not a clue what is in the photograph. At this time, it remains a UFO. Several other witnesses have come forward stating they too, saw unknown objects at about the same time. Photo was snapped in January.

California - 01-10-09

The eyewitness took this photograph with his cell phone camera on January 10. He was hiking with a friend when the unknown object briefly appeared. The UFO disappeared just as he took the picture. The witness states that if you zoom in enough, you can see electrical discharge from the power lines below.

UFO photographed over Ely Cathedral in the United Kingdom

A woman captured this unknown object as it hovered over Ely Cathedral in the United Kingdom. She was walking her dog near a river, when the dog became upset. The woman looked up, saw the UFO, and took the photograph. The photographer was skeptical about UFOs until she saw one herself. Information gathered from the Ely Standard.

Triangle UFO Photographed over South Carolina

The photographer was sitting outside, waiting for for the mailman to come. He saw a black, triangle-shaped object in the sky quite a distance away. He took three photographs with a Konica Minolta-DiMage Z20. These are some of the clearest photographs ever taken of a triangle UFO.

UFO photographed over South Harrow, UK

A strange light in the skies above South Harrow, UK, was photographed by amateur Ahmad Zaigham. While watching the skies, Zaigham saw an unknown object appear through the clouds on March 31, 2009. Zaigham stated: "The light coming from this thing is something I have never seen the like of. I don't think any aircraft has a light like this. "And moments after this shot, the object seemed to quickly fade in light and travel above at high speed. I did not hear any loud sound, but I did hear a whistle kind of sound. I am still shocked."

Photograph of three unknown objects/lights over Texas

While returning from Carlsbad Caversn in New Mexico, running into Texas, a man, his wife, and son all spotted several unique lights, 4 at first, and then 3. The objects were only about 50 feet altitude, and approximately a mile from their vehicle. The object were moving over some houses in the distance, and they mananaged to take the photograph shown here.
